Everyone Loves Elwood

     Elwood, the 2007 Cutest Ugliest Dog Contest winner came to our store for Hatboro's First Friday on June 6th 2008. You may have seen Elwood on CNN, Good Morning America and in the newspapers!  Elwood won the Animal Planet sponsored contest June of 2007.

     Elwood came to our store along with his owner Karen Quigley took photos and signed his book, Everyone Loves Elwood; a children's book that helps children understand and deal with diversity.

     We also collected pet leashes, collars and other slightly used pet supplies to help Elwood's pet charities. He supports several pet related charities including Special Needs Pet Rescue of New Jersey. All the proceeds from his visit to our store went towards these charities.
